You want society to accept you, but you can’t even accept yourself.

Twinkle, Twinkle

So I just came back from my second run of the day (don’t ask me why I went for a second run since my favorite activity is laying in bed and watching movies, but I did). But mid run on a quiet florida street stricken with darkness I looked up and saw the stars for the first time in a long time, living in the city is not exactly conducive to star gazing.

But for some reason one small star stuck out to me so I sat down in the middle of the road in the my running attire and then slowly laid back. I starred at the star for a while before I began talking to it.

Now, I don’t wanna say that I made a wish on a star because that is not exactly what I did. I asked it to give me a chance. This year helped me be me and I asked that little strong star to give me a chance to really go somewhere with my life.

Hopefully it will give me that chance.

As I stood up and bid farewell to it, I departed with the words amor fati; which is a latin saying meaning I accept my fate, I embrace my fate, I love my fate
